CALAVERAS HIGH BAND
Dear Parents,
I have lots of important information for you! Please read the entire announcement! For those of you who missed the parent meeting last weekend, most of the handouts are now uploaded (or will be by the end of the day) to the Infinite Campus portal. The band handbook with the grading policy, etc. will be up by the end of the day. Please make sure you read through it carefully. All of the handouts should be listed under newsletters. All of these forms will also be uploaded to the bands new website. The site has limited information currently but will be updated soon. The three color guard students who are not enrolled in band class will only be able to find this information on the website, not Infinite Campus.
For everyone enrolled in band class, the weekly calendar will be posted by Sunday night each week to let students know what equipment they need for the week, remind them about any assignments due, concerts that week, etc. This will also be posted on the board in the band room and students will fill out their own assignment calendar every Monday. Parents, please check this as well to help keep your students on track each week.
The marching band is 64 members strong this year (our largest ever!) and working really hard! I’m looking forward to a fantastic season. Come out to the games to see our Beatles Tribute show!
